The Software Process Improvement Workshop is unique in that it couples training, consulting, and real work in a three or four-day package. The intent of the workshop is to get you started - not simply by educating you, but by providing a forum in which the first steps toward software process improvement (SPI) are actually taken.

Conducted by one of the world's leading experts in software process improvement, Dr. Roger S. Pressman, the workshop will enable one or more teams from your company to:

• assess current software development practices at your company and develop a quantitative indication of your strengths and weaknesses
• assess individual knowledge of software engineering - a critical success factor for SPI
• create findings and recommendations derived from the assessment
• develop a plan for managing SPI risks
• develop a skeleton for an effective common process framework
